Care From Wherever You Are
We are a fully telehealth practice. Your sessions take place wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that's your living room, your home office, or anywhere else that gives you a quiet, private space.
You do not need to drive across town or rearrange your schedule. All you need is a device with internet and a place where you can speak freely. Every session runs through a HIPAA-secure platform, so your privacy is protected from start to finish.
We serve clients across Hampton Roads, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, and Newport News. We are also licensed to work with clients in North Carolina.
Insurance and Payment
We are accepting new clients through commercial insurance, Medicaid, private pay, and EAP programs. We provide therapy for clients located in Virginia and North Carolina.

About the Practice
NEW Touch Counseling was founded by Uranda Waller, a licensed therapist whose passion for this work started long before her career did. Growing up watching her mother's helping hand, she came to understand something early: that helping people reach their full potential is not limited to any one setting or job title. It is a calling.
With over 15 years of experience across community programs, schools, residential care, and individual therapy, she built this practice around a conviction she has never let go of. Every person, regardless of where they are starting from, deserves to be treated with dignity and genuine care.
Today our team includes licensed therapists and social workers with backgrounds in outpatient mental health, trauma care, rehabilitation, domestic violence advocacy, and community-based services.
We have worked with people through anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult life transitions, grief, and more. We know what it takes to reach out, and we do not take the trust our clients place in us lightly.
